Frisco's First Multicultural Festival According to Global Village Frisco, the citizens of the city speak over 67 different languages. To celebrate the truly diverse city, the first ever Multicultural Festival is being held this weekend in Frisco, Texas. The event is free and appropriate for the entire family. The festival will feature approximately 70 booths celebrating different cultures, as well as diverse offerings of various cultural cuisines. The booths will feature hand-made crafts, products, and educational information. There are several scheduled cultural performances set to happen in Simpson Plaza. These performances will include a Mexican Mariachi band, a Chinese dragon dance, K-Pop music, a Palestinian folkloric line dance, and more festivities. There will also be a bounce house for children along with several interactive activities. Guests of the Festival are encouraged to wear native attire, but it is absolutely not required.
