Frisco Book Fest

Frisco Book Fest The Frisco Book Fest is a festival for both readers and local writers. On Saturday, November 4th from at the Frisco Public Library, guests will have a chance to talk to local authors and illustrators. The festival will include author panels. Attendees of the event will get to learn more about the publishing process and more about the local literary community. Community partners, including Henery Press and the Writers Garret, will be participating to offer valuable information for local authors. This year is the second year of the Frisco Book Fest. The 2016 festival was the first year, and it was a huge success. This year the festival has been expanded to include more presentations and more author panels. The event is open to guests of all ages and there is no registration required to attend. The Frisco Book Fest is also free to attend. Author, Melissa McCollum, will be autographing books along with many other local authors in the “Authors in the Atrium” throughout the fest. Other authors included in the “Authors in the Atrium” collection will be John Alexander, Derek Blount, Beth Bowland, Karla Butler, Jennifer Evans, Christie Gibson, Anne Greene, Lorraine Heath, Jennifer Cole Judd, Glo Jenkins, Linda Baten Johnson, Tracy Lawson, Marcia Morales, and Taylor Stevens. The author booths allow for guests to meet their favorite local authors, discover new favorites, and pick up copies of autographed books and other literary swag.
